Register for the event at honeycomb.devpost.com. Participation is free and limited to one (1) entry per person. By participating, you accept and agree to these Terms, all terms of service and privacy policies posted on Honeycomb and/or linked therein, and the decisions of the contest administrator, CLCG, Inc. (“Administrator”) in its sole discretion, which are final and binding in all matters related to this Hackathon.
Winners are determined by merit, based on the levels of real-world applicability, functionality, design and use of data inputs in each Hackathon participant’s submission, in Administrator’s sole discretion during the period between 12 a.m. EST on the first day of the submission period and 11:59 p.m. EST on the last day of the submission period. Winners will be determined within seven (7) days after the submission period and notified by email. Potential winners may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility/liability release and/or provide other identifying information as required by law. A prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected if the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or if the entrant: (a) does not respond to the prize notification within three (3) business days, (b) does not meet eligibility criteria, or (c) does not fully comply with these rules.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Entrants must be 18 years or older at the time of entry and must not (I) reside in any US and/or EU sanctioned jurisdiction, nor (II) be a US and/or EU sanctioned person. Void where prohibited by law. Employees, officers, agents and directors of CLCG, Inc. and all affiliated companies, vendors, contractors, and their immediate families (spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, daughter or son) or members of their same households (whether related or not) are ineligible. All national, federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations apply.
Acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner's consent to the use of their name and/or likeness for advertising without additional compensation, where not prohibited by law. All taxes and other expenses are the sole responsibility of the winners. Administrator is not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (a) illegible, incomplete, damaged, misdirected, stolen, late, or lost entries; (b) errors or delays in entering; (c) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Administrator which may cause the Hackathon to be disrupted or corrupted; and (d) any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance or use of the prize, or from participation in the Hackathon. Any entrant attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Hackathon, including but not limited to using automated processes for entry, will be ineligible. If for any reason the Hackathon is not capable of running as originally planned, Administrator at its sole discretion reserves the right to modify or cancel the Hackathon.
The Sponsor/Administrator of the Promotion is CLCG, Inc. ("Administrator").
The names of prize winners may be requested by sending Administrator an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Administrator of this competition, organizers, and any Internet access or service providers are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry of entry information, human or other error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, blockchain network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof, inability to access websites, loss of any digital assets or tokens, or damage to a user's computer system (hardware or software) due to participation in this contest. If the Administrator determines, in its sole discretion, that there is any suspected or actual electronic tampering with the contest or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the contest or if any non-compliance with the rules has occurred, the Administrators reserve the right to void the entries at issue and/or terminate the contest in its entirety. If the contest is terminated due to tampering or technical difficulties prior to its end date, notice will be posted publicly. ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE CONTENT OR OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST IS UNLAWFUL AND SUBJECT TO LEGAL ACTION BY THE ADMINISTRATOR OR ITS AGENTS. Entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The "authorized account" holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Any online entries submitted by automated means, or third-party, will be disqualified. Entries will not be valid until received by the Administrator.
Rules for Judge's Choice Consideration.
To be eligible for the Judge's Choice prize, you must comply with the following requirements:1.1. You must successfully use Chainlink oracles, and the data fetched by the oracle must trigger a state change in the smart contract.
1.2. It is preferred, but not required, that the data used will be collected from multiple oracles to show the decentralized application of Chainlink.
1.3. You must share how you treat this retrieved data. For example, do you use a median, weighted average, or some other aggregation formula?
1.4. Your entry must abide by the overall hackathon rules.
1.5. While you may play ahead of time, any code for your project must be written during the event.
1.6. You cannot steal another team's source code, and you certify that all code and presentations you submit are your own work.
If Selected as a winner of a Chainlink award, your acceptance of the Chainlink award means you agree to the following:2.1. You will not disparage Chainlink or its products, services, agents, representatives, directors, officers, shareholders, attorneys, employees, vendors, business partners, affiliates, successors or assigns, nor any person acting by, through, under or in concert with any of them, with any written or oral statement. Nothing in this paragraph shall prohibit the winner from providing truthful information in response to a valid subpoena or other legal processes; however, the winning participant agrees to provide Company sufficient notice of such to allow Company the opportunity to oppose such subpoena or legal process prior to providing any information (unless expressly prohibited by applicable law).
2.2. Any media, such as a blog post, that is created about winning the event, will first be shared with the Chainlink team beforehand so that we can coordinate and help you spread the message of your media.
2.3. You agree to an interview with a writer affiliated with the team, which will result in featuring your project on the Chainlink website and sharing your project with the greater community.
